OUR SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT
All our garments are made with certified organic fabrics that ensure that all processes, from planting to the last finishing of the fabrics, are respectful of the planet, workers and children's skin.
People:
Our certified fabrics are manufactured according to very strict and controlled environmental and social criteria: child labor and the use of substances that may be dangerous for workers are prohibited.
The planet:
Our certified fabrics come from organic crops, where dangerous pesticides are not used, less water and energy are consumed and up to 94% less greenhouse gases are emitted.
Children's skin:
Our certified fabrics are composed of at least 95% organic textile fibers, essential to respect the health of our children's skin.
All our fabrics
They come from organic agriculture.
Polyester is present in 60% of the garments that dominate the market. At Twin&Chic we opt for natural fibers such as organic cotton, whose carbon dioxide emissions are much lower than those of polyester, in addition to consuming less water in its plantations.
With our commitment to organic agriculture, we contribute to reducing the devastating effects that industrial agriculture has on the planet: it is responsible for a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions. Organic farming and livestock farming works with nature, not against it like industrial farming. This model is based on sustainable management of local resources that benefits producers and consumers.
Our fabrics have a certification that ensures that they do not contain toxic substances that are harmful to children's health, such as dangerous dyes or other substances such as NPEs.
We only work with biodegradable and recyclable materials.
We work with recyclable fabrics after use to follow circular economy criteria. Thanks to the timeless style of our garments and their high quality, your children and family will be able to inherit Twin&Chic garments. Did you know that if you keep your clothes for one or two years you will be reducing your CO2 emissions by 24%?
(they are 100% cotton, linen, or wool), since nowadays it is very difficult to recycle mixed fabrics (for example cotton and polyester)
We join Spain's commitment to the EU to recycle 490 million kilos of clothing annually in 2020 and to collect and recycle 50% of textile waste for that same year, as stated in the State Framework Plan for Waste Management . Currently, companies in the European textile sector barely recycle a fifth of their clothing.
