Chapter VIII. Twin&Chic at the Madrid Costume Museum.

One rainy winter morning we received a very special call. It was the Slow Fashion Next team and they called us to be part of the VII Sustainable Fashion Day that they were going to organize at the Madrid Costume Museum on April 6 and 7.

And we went there two weeks ago, to enjoy the talks by the most educated voices in sustainable fashion in our country and to see the wonderful Positive Impact Fashion exhibition of which Twin&Chic is a part along with other brands such as Skunfunk, Ternua, Lavandera, Telarista Urbana, Amarenak, Organic Cotton Co or Ekomodo, among others.

For all of you who are in Madrid, we encourage you to visit the Costume Museum to discover the necessary reasons behind sustainable fashion brands like ours: respect for the environment, labor rights and people's health. As Blanca Gómara says on the Slow Fashion Next blog, “sustainability is essential to meet the challenges of the 21st century and any project that does not contemplate it falls short and lacks momentum.” The exhibition will be on until next Sunday, April 22.

Thank you to Gipuzkoa Ingurumena and Guipúzcoa Provincial Council for making all this possible, for your commitment to sustainable fashion with a Basque seal and for giving visibility to brands that are committed to creating a better future for our children.
