The new AW 23/24 collection is here! We say goodbye to August by welcoming 'OUR ORIGINS' , a collection about the origins of the city that saw the birth of the Twin&Chic project, the city of San Sebastián - in the north of Spain - at the beginning of the 20th century.
For the design of the Fall-Winter 2023-2024 collection we have also been inspired by different creators and artisans such as Cristobal Balenciaga , among others; culture of fashion and style that has continued in this region to this day.
Therefore, there are three main threads that take us to that time:
OUR ICONS
Within this collection we could not miss a little praise for the iconic garments from our “heritage” library, garments donated by former dressmakers or women who keep jewelry from other decades, and which each year are a great source of inspiration to create new designs and own prints.
FROM GETARIA TO SAN SEBASTIAN
In this part of the collection we take a short tour of the Basque coast, specifically from Getaria to San Sebastián, soaking up the blue tones of the sea, its cliffs and of course, the city where we were born: San Sebastián.
CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA
The last source of inspiration for this collection provides that “chic” touch that is always present in the DNA of our brand. The elegance, the “Babydoll” volumes, the bows, the black color..., all the references of the latest designs in this collection are direct inspiration from the legacy of Cristobal Balenciaga, who will always be an icon of Basque fashion and, in Consequently, from Twin & Chic.
As always, tell you that this entire collection has been designed under GOTS criteria. using only natural materials, developing exclusive prints and choosing the best LIBERTY LONDON prints, and under our Skin-Healthy clothes standard, following our values and vision of taking care of the health of our children and leaving them a better future.
