Three out of ten children suffer from skin problems, and 85% of these cases occur in the first five years of life, which represents a public health problem worldwide.
Twin and Chic has committed itself to this cause, defining the characteristics that a skin-healthy garment should have. These characteristics have been compiled in a product health and safety standard called "Skin-healthy clothes", unique in the industry. For its development, they have collaborated with the allergology team at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and with textile chemistry experts from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The Basque company specialising in high-end children's, dermo-healthy and ecological fashion plans to strengthen its international expansion strategy by entering the US, Latin American and Middle Eastern markets in the coming months. To this end, they have started a 3rd round of financing through the Bolsa Social impact investment ecosystem .
